Stella Maeve (born in 1961) is an American actor best known as the outstanding actress on Julia Wicker who appeared on The Magicians. Maeve, who's Native American and originally from New York, was born within the state. She is part Blackfoot as well as a part Cherokee. In 2005 she made her first appearance on the screen with the short Liminality. Also, she made her big screen debut in 2005 when she appeared on the critically acclaimed drama Transamerica. 2004 was the year she appeared on TV for the first time with the four-season Law & Order Criminal Intent episode. She joined the Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise in 2014 under the name Nadia Decotis, Chicago P.D. . The character was played by her to 2015.
